A new law was enacted by the Massachusetts legislature which limits the retainage amount on certain commercial construction projects. Wisconsin is one of a number of states that do not require adult motorcyclists to wear helmets. Under the headgear statute, headgear is only required for people under the age of 18. Wisconsin law does require riders to wear eye protection. This protection could be a face shield attached to the bike, goggles or glasses. [Read more…]

• All motorcycle operators with a license must:
– Have a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle instruction permit or endorsement.
– Register their motorcycle and display a valid license plate.
– Carry liability insurance.
– Carry proof of insurance when riding.

There are approximately 75 million dogs in the U.S. Dogs bite about 4.5 million people each year and approximately 800,000 of them receive medical treatment for their injuries. Approximately 368,000 people end up in the ER per year due to dog bites (that’s 1,088 a day!). Dog bite hospitalizations have gone up approximately 86% since 1993.
